Dear Students and Families,
I hope that your family has been able to enjoy a restful and relaxing summer! While we wish to savor every moment of the summer, we are rapidly approaching the start of school and are in the process of finalizing plans for Opening Day on Tuesday, September 3rd. We are all excited to have students back in our classrooms and hallways fillingthem with energy and enthusiasm for learning. On behalf of the administrators and staff at Medway High School,welcome to the 2019-2020 school year!
This year, our work will be guided by the Medway Public Schools 2019-2024 Strategic Plan: Excellence for All: A Medway Mindset. On day one and every day thereafter, it is our goal to improve learning for all by engaging students in active-continuous learning opportunities both in and out of the classroom. We are also committed to supporting the needs of all of our students by forming relationships built on trust and mutual respect that enhances our positive learning environment. Through these efforts, our students will be prepared and empowered to thrive at MHS and beyond.
Our families play a critical role as partners in the students’ journey and we strive to keep you informed in a variety of ways. Following this letter, you will find important information to help prepare you and your child(ren) for the start of school. Because there is so much to share, we’ll follow up again when schedules are posted and just before the start of school with the schedule for the first two days. This information will also be updated on the Medway High School webpage. In the meantime, I hope you all enjoy the rest of the summer and I look forward to seeing you soon!
